Raising awareness of Christian Ministries in Burma

Having recently returned from Burma with a delegation from our Church it became apparent that there is great need in this country and that this must not be a 'one visit' experience. It also became apparent that there was a need to implement a strategy to ensure that help and support reached these Christians and their ministries.

There is a need to uphold these Christian ministries in prayer and to raise awareness to increase support in this poor land. Hence, the creation of this website to do just that and to provide a means for sharing news and information regarding these Christians and their ministries.

Project Burma is a ministry of Horsell Evangelical Church (FIEC), Woking, Surrey. The ministry consists of visiting Burma (Myanmar) teaching, preaching and supporting Churches, Bible Schools and individual Christians in their mission to win the Burmese people for Christ. Finances and assistance are provided to the 'body of Christ' in Myanmar and distributed where the need arises.

To coordinate efforts and strategies an organisation called 'Project Burma' was established as a focus for creating awareness of the plight of the Church in Myanmar and for distributing aid among the Burmese Christian ministries.
